HUMAN BODY - PUSHING THE LIMITS
Dangerous Films, for Discovery Channel

In March 2007 we were contacted by Tim Goodchild of Dangerous Films and invited to be involved in this landmark science series for Discovery Channel.

Working alongside digital effects supervisor Hayden Jones from post-production facility Rushes, The Model Unit acted as both special effects and art departments, providing miniature construction and filming, set construction, prosthetics, art direction, physical effects and pyrotechnics.

The episode Strength involved the construction of a 1/6th scale trailer home for a tornado sequence. We also constructed a 1/12th scale water tower miniature in order to create the illusion that a field in Oxfordshire was in fact the American midwest.
