Spring 2009
Whilst work continues apace on our projects for Pioneer Productions
and Dangerous Films, we has also been able to find the time to help
out an old friend.
Ex-BBC effects designer Mat Irvine contacted us with a proposal to build a 1:6 scale model of a lunar lander designed by the British Interplanetary Society in 1939. The model was to form part of an exhibition celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Moon landings at the Spaceport in Merseyside. The final model stood an impressive 8' tall and occupies the space vacated by the TARDIS following the closure of the
Art of Doctor Who Exhibition. More
information can be found at
www.spaceport.org.uk.
We have also recently been awarded Runner up in the
2009 Televisual
Bulldog Awards for Best Digital & Physical FX,
for
HUMAN BODY - PUSHING THE LIMITS
